A: Our cards do not take up any space on your computer hard drive. They
are simply web pages that you view with your internet browser. The email
notifications we send you are only text messages with a hypertext link
to your card and so not contain any attached files.

A: A cookie is a small, non-executable text file that is sent to your
computer by our network. Because they are non-executable, they are perfectly
safe for your computer. Cookies are very commonly used on the internet
to help websites serve you better.

Can I get a virus from Smiles4All?
A: There is no way that you can get a computer virus from sending or
receiving a Smiles4All electronic greeting card. Our cards are simply
web pages that you view with your internet browser.

A: The Smiles4All site is designed to work correctly with all the most
popular web browsers. If you are having any trouble receiving cards
we strongly suggest you upgrade to the most recent versions of browser

A: We are committed to making your Smiles4All experience enjoyable and
safe. When you send one of our electronic greetings, the information
you provide to us is used to customize your greeting with your name
and the name or names of the people you send smiles to. Smiles4All keeps
all names and e-mail addresses strictly confidential. No third parties
are offered your information.

How do I create a Smile to send to my family and friends?
A: All you have to do is log on to our website at www.smiles4all.com
and follow the directions on the site. It's easy!

How do I change the text on a card but keep the picture?
A: When you are finished with your first card you can click on the BACK
arrow and that will enable you to go back to the initial text page and
change the text.

Do I pay for the donations that are sent to non-profit organizations?
A: No these donations are made by our sponsors. All you have to do is
send a smileJ

Is there a limit to the number of cards that you can send?
A: No absolutely not! The more cards you send the more money that is
donated to our nonprofit organizations

How long does it take for cards to be sent?
A: Smiles are sent out IMMEDIATELY! An e-mail will also be sent out
immediately notifying the you that your card has been sent.

How do I view or pick up my card?
A: All you have to do is go to the web address that is given to you
on your e-mail from smiles4all.

Can I print or save a Smiles4All Card?
A: Yes you can print out your card immediately after viewing. Smiles4all
will hold your card for 180 days after you have viewed it. As long as
you keep the address of your card you should be able to continue to
bring it up on our site.

Why can't I send a card?
A: If you are having problems sending cards, be sure to check the e-mail
address of the person you are sending the card to. Incorrect or invalid
e-mail addresses will not be sent out.

Why can I send a person regular email, but I can't send them a card?
A: If you are sure the address is correct, and you can send the person
regular email, but you still can't send them our cards, then there are
three possible reasons why you can't send them a card.
They may be using an email account issued through their place of work,
and the business itself blocks our cards. Another possibility may be
that they do not have their email controls set to receive our cards.
In either case, you should have the recipient contact the tech support
staff at his or her place of work (if applicable), or the tech support
at his or her Internet Service Provider, and ask how to change the mail
blocking controls.
It is also possible that your recipient has asked Smiles4All to block
sending of cards to their address. If this is the case, we are unable
to send them any cards unless they request to be unblocked.

Why wasn't my card delivered?
A: The most common reason for this is a mistyped recipient email address.
If you entered a typo in the email address, your card may have been
sent to the wrong address. Make sure the address is correct.
If you are sure the address is correct, and you can send the person
regular email, but you still can't send them our cards, then there are
three possible reasons why you can't send them a card.
They may be using an email account issued through their place of work,
and the business itself blocks our cards. Another possibility may be

Why doesn't the email address fit in the box?
A: Make sure you are entering the email address in the "Recipient's
email address" box, and not the "Recipient's Name" box.
The "Name" box only takes 28 characters, but the "Address"
box is much longer.
Q:
How do I correct the date of delivery for the card I sent?
A: If you had your card sent IMMEDIATELY then the email notification
was sent to your recipient immediately and the date of delivery cannot
be changed. If the card is to be sent at a later date, you will have
to cancel the card and then resend it with the correct date of delivery.
Q:
Why isn't the card that I sent in my "Out" mailbox?
A: The reason your animated greeting card doesn't show up in your "Out"
mailbox is that the email notification is sent by us, rather than you.
Q:
Can I preview a greeting before I send it?
A: Yes. Before sending your greeting, a preview will automatically appear
before you send it.
Q:
Can I send a greeting to more than one person?
A: Yes. After selecting your greeting, just add one personal message
for all of your recipients to read. Then, enter the email address of
each person to whom you'll be sending the greeting, using commas to
separate the email addresses.

Can I postdate a greeting?
A: No. This feature will be added soon!

How can I see the greetings I've sent?
A: Open the e-mail account that you submitted as the "from"
address. In the receipt is a link to the card that you sent.
Q:
I mistyped my recipient's email address. Can I resend my greeting?
A: Yes. First, sign in to Smiles4All. Then proceed to send the greeting
again.
Q:
Can I cancel the delivery of my greeting?
A: Our server will process your greeting for immediate delivery. Once
the greeting has been loaded into our server, the transaction cannot
be stopped.
Q:
How long can my personal message be?
A: Generally, each personal message that you add to a greeting must
be under 250 characters. Different font styles and sizes, however, will
affect the final length of your personal message.
Q:
Can I change my personal message after I've sent the greeting?
A: Unfortunately, once a greeting has been sent out through our server,
there is no way to alter it. If you have postdated a greeting to be
sent and need to correct the personal message, you'll have to delete
the card in your Order History and start over again.
